✦ LEGAL
Privacy policy
What this website collects, what the plugin sends anywhere, and what we do with either. The short version: very little, and nothing without you starting it.
🛈 Two different things
This policy covers this website. What the plugin sends anywhere, and when, is documented separately on External services & privacy — the short version is that a conversion runs entirely on your own server.
Who we are
This site is operated by Progressus, the studio behind the BlockShift – Migrate Off Elementor plugin. If you have a question about anything on this page, reach us through the contact page.
What we collect on this site
- Nothing you have to give us. There is no account to create and no newsletter gate. You can read every page here without identifying yourself.
- Standard server logs. Our host records the usual request data — IP address, browser and device string, the page requested, and the time — for security and for keeping the site running.
- Anything you send us voluntarily. If you email us or open a support thread, we keep that message so we can answer it.
What the plugin collects
Nothing, by default. Converting a page reads and writes your own WordPress database and sends nothing out. Three optional features do reach outside services, and only when you start them yourself:
| Feature | What is sent | To whom |
|---|---|---|
| AI Enhancement | The converted page’s markup, the model instructions, screenshot links, and your own API key | Anthropic (Claude) |
| Screenshots for AI Enhancement | The public URL of the page and a desktop/mobile flag | A Progressus-run screenshot service |
| Feedback form | Environment details, your rating and notes, and the converted content and screenshots for the pages you pick | Progressus |
None of these run on their own. If you never save an API key and never submit feedback, the plugin talks to no outside service at all. Full detail, including the front-end services a converted page may reuse (Google Fonts, Maps, YouTube, OpenStreetMap), is on External services & privacy.
Cookies
We use only what the site needs to function. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See the cookie policy for the detail.
How long we keep things
Server logs are kept for as long as our host retains them for operational and security purposes. Correspondence is kept while it is useful for supporting you, and removed on request.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Data reaches a third party only in the cases listed in the table above, or where we are legally required to disclose it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. Ask us through the contact page and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and change the date below.
