✦ CHANGELOG

What changed, and when

Every release of the free plugin, newest first. The add-on is versioned separately at block-shift.com.

Version 1.1.0

Current stable

Latest

  • Improve: Converted pages now closely match the original Elementor design — row/column layout, vertical alignment, spacing and section widths all follow the original.
  • Improve: Section and container backgrounds now carry over, including overlays and colours taken from your theme or Elementor palette.
  • Fix: Background and content images reuse the image already in your Media Library instead of downloading a fresh copy each time or linking back to the old site.
  • Improve: Images keep their set size and alignment.
  • Improve: Icon boxes, buttons, headings, image boxes, galleries, social icons, testimonials, menus and the site logo convert more faithfully — size, padding, colours and fonts now follow the original.
  • Add: Headers and footers built with Elementor’s Header & Footer widgets now convert.
  • Fix: Converted pages use your theme’s full-width layout where the original was full width, and no longer scroll sideways.
  • Improve: Converted pages no longer load any Elementor stylesheets or scripts, so they are lighter and faster.
  • Fix: Converted pages now open cleanly in the WordPress block editor — blocks no longer show an “unexpected or invalid content” warning, so you can edit a converted page like any other.
  • Fix: An icon box now keeps its original heading level instead of always becoming an H3.

✦ KEEPING UP

Where releases are announced

WordPress.org

Updates arrive through the normal plugin updater. The release notes for each version are on the plugin page.

The add-on

AI Enhancement is versioned and released separately at block-shift.com, on its own schedule.

Something missing?

If a widget you rely on is not covered yet, tell us through the support forum — coverage is driven by what people actually hit.

Running an older version?

Update from Plugins in your dashboard. Converted pages are standard blocks, so an update never touches pages you have already converted.
